Gauley Bridge is a town in Fayette County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 614 at the 2010 census. The Kanawha River is formed at Gauley Bridge by the confluence of the New and Gauley Rivers. The community was named after a bridge over the Gauley River near the original town site. It is close to the site of the Hawk's Nest incident, in which hundreds of people died in the 1920s and 1930s. The town is located at 38°1004N 81°1149W (38.167815, -81.197079).According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.63 square miles (4.22 km²), of which 1.58 square miles of it is land and 0.05 sq miles (0.13 km²) is water. The median income for a household in the town was $25,500, and the median for a family was $26,250. About 26.7% of families and 33.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 49% of those under the age of 18 and 24 of those over 24.7 years of age. The average household size was 2.20 and the average family size was2.87. In 2000, there were 738 people, 325 households, and 205 families living in the the town. As of the census of 2010,there were 614 people, 279 homes, and 159 families.

The town is home to the Gauley Bridge High School, which was founded in 1903. The school is located in the town of Gauley, which is also known as Gauley High School and Gauley Elementary School. It is located on the banks of the Red River, which runs through the center of the town. The Gauley River flows through the town, and the town's name is derived from the river's ancient name, Gauley. It was named after a local family of the same name, who lived in the area in the 1800s and early 1900s.

The state's population growth rate has been slow, with only 1.4% of residents attending college or higher. Transportation

U.S. Route 60, WV 16, and WV 39 all intersect in Downtown Gauley Bridge. WV 60, 16 and 39 are all part of the West Virginia Turnpike system. The West Virginia Highway System was established in the early 1900s. It was the first state highway system in the United States. It is still in use today and is a major artery in the state. The WV Highway System has been in operation since the late 1800s and is one of the oldest in the U.S., according to the National Highway and Transportation Association (NHTSA) The NHTSA says it is the only highway system that runs through downtown Morgantown, West Virginia. The NTC says it has been a major hub for the region since the mid 1950s and early 1960s.

MacGillivray Milne was the 27th Governor of American Samoa. He was born in American Samoa and died in Samoan capital of Samoaland. Milne is known for his work as a politician and philanthropist. He is the father of American Samoans and the son of a Samoan woman. He served as governor from 2003 to 2008. He also served as a member of the US House of Representatives in the 1990s. He had a son, MacGillvray, and a daughter, MacKenzie Milne, who died in 2010. The son was also a politician, and served as Governor from 2007 to 2010.
